In a four-way collaboration between the Universities of Bayreuth, Bochum, Munich, and Toronto, the electrocatalytic performance of synthetic m\u00f6ssbauerite is demonstrated to be competitive with the best-known \u2018iron only\u2019 electrocatalysts.
