In the inaugural issue of Joule, Geoff provided a commentary on Prof. Steinfeld’s work on CO2 reduction. Their current photo-thermal reactor design implementing a CeO2 catalyst is described with insight into the chemistry of how the originally multistep process has been reduced into a single step process.
